HOME

Original air date:  03/14/1986

The episode starts with Crockett having driven 70 miles to visit with a prisoner, Maroto who had summonsed him to the prison. In reality this is not 70 miles away but right in Miami at the Florida Department Of Corrections, South Florida Reception Center, 14000 NW 41st Street, Miami.

Then we see the standard season 2 opening montage.

Act 1 opens with a woman walking into the police department with a message for Crockett. This was also filmed at the South Florida Reception Center.

Then we see Crockett and Tubbs arriving at a house on the water. First we see the outside of 28 Harbor Point Dr., Key Biscayne. We have also seen this house used in the Great McCarthy and Trust Fund Pirates. Then they stop at the house next door, 20 Harbor Point Dr., Reuben Reydolfo’s.

Then we go to the O.C.B. (studio set) where Crockett receives the woman’s message.

Then we go to Frankie and Johnnie’s nightclub. This was located at 1492 17th Street causeway in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

Then we see the woman who is trying to contact Crockett, talking on the phone. This appears to be a set at Greenwich Studios.

Then we go to Bayside Marina where Crockett gets a message in the form of a question, where is the money? The next morning he is woken to a phone call demanding he share the wealth.

Tubbs arrives and they have a talk up on deck. Here we get to see the Bayside Market Place under construction.

Then we see Crockett and Tubbs at a small table in a nice restaurant while Reydolfo is dinning at a large well placed table. It has been reported that this was filmed at Frankie and Johnnie’s in Ft. Lauderdale but I have not confirmed this.

The deal is set and we return to the O.C.B. (set).

Next we see Sonny go to Internal Affairs. This was also filmed at the South Florida Reception Center.

Then we return to the O.C.B. for a brief meeting before we cut to the woman who is talking on a phone.  Location unknown.

Then we go out to Fuente’s yacht, anchored off of Key Biscayne.

Fuente knows who Crockett really is and thinks that Crockett has his 3 million dollars. Crockett and Tubbs miraculously escape and send Fuente swimming.

Some bullets might be a good idea.

We return to the O.C.B. (set) where Crockett is sounding off about being under investigation. He finds out that Cates is DEA and has being working on Fuentes for a long time. That is how he made it look so easy, getting Crockett and Tubbs into meet Fuentes.

Next we see Crockett and Tubbs at the bar, Frankie and Johnnie’s again.

Then we go to the O.C.B.(set) where Castillo affirms his faith in Sonny.

Then we go to Reydofo’s house at 20 Harbor Point Dr., Key Biscayne.

Then we return to the O.C.B. (set) where the deal is discussed before cutting to Crockett’s Marina.

Then we go inside the bugbuster van. This was filmed at Storer Communications, 12000 Biscayne Blvd. adjacent to the studio.

Then it cuts back to the O.C.B. set where Tubbs gets a bunch of files via interoffice.

Then we cut back to the bugbuster van at Storer Communications.

Next we see Reydolfo arrive at Bayside Marina, slip 237.

We cut back to the O.C.B. Where Tubbs is reading through the files and learns that Cates is a pig that is not flying straight.

We cut back to Bayside where Crockett sees Cates place a blue duffel bag aboard Reydolfo’s boat as Crockett is being searched by Reydolfo for bugs.

Then we cut back to the O.C.B. Where Tubbs is presenting his findings to Lt. Castillo.

Then we see Crockett, Cates and Reydolfo speeding toward a meet with Fuentes off the coast of Key Biscayne. The meet never occurs because Cates shoots Reydolfo in the back and enters into a life and death struggle with Crockettt where Crockett wins, of course.
